WTF Yahoo Toolbar? (Computer Q)

How the fuck do I get rid of the Yahoo toolbar on Firefox?

I deleted it from add-ons and from add/remove programs and it is still fucking there!! WTF How is this possible?

It doesn't even show up in the toolbar menu anymore but it still has the stupid Yahoo search box there that won't go away.

Anybody?

Are you talking about the search box in the upper right? If so, you can click on the down arrow next to the icon and change the search type. If it's the actual toolbar, I don't know other than what you already tried/did.

Maybe restart Firefox?

You have AVG right?



if you right click on the umm, wtf would I call that....if your on r3v there's a BMW logo before the website address.....right click on it and un-check the AVG toolbar.

use your eyes when downloading/updating. un check boxes like "install yahoo toolbar"
