I don't know much about mustangs, except they sound great with minor exhaust mods.

Come hang out in Dearborn and learn just how dumb mustangs/owners are.

I am confused by this thread.

I've seen my fair share of stupid mustang owners too. This thread was meant to ask if this car appeals to other r3v members.

Would I drive that fast down a street, ending up hitting someone and being buttraped for the rest of my life in a cement box? No.
Would I supercharge a Mustang because I'm an obese 60 year old, to be able to drive that fast down a street, ending up hitting someone and being buttraped for the rest of my life in a cement box? No.

is this something they only do to 2003 svts, or could does kenne bell have kits for any mustangs in that gen?

I think he is trying to say is would you own one? Come out to los angeles and check out the mustang drivers out here. Every time they have a (street race crash) on the news a mustang is involved in the accident. I would own one but respect for the power and other people is a must.

They make kenne bell kits for just about any mustang, but 03-04 were factory supercharged rated at 400hp, you swap them for the kb and they are monsters. All forged internals on the 03-04 as well so they can take them.

I could have been more specific with my thread title. I hope that common sense would prevent anyone from actually wanting to drive this fast in anything remotely populated.

I hear ya on the high number of wrecked mustangs. Whenever i go to my local wreckers, i pass through he 'domestic' section, and there is an excessive amount of wrecked mustangs there.

I hate this generation of Mustangs. I have respect for the 60's/70's cars, the new ones are pretty nice, but nothing special, unlike the GT40.
I'm also not a fan of modding the hell out of an engine, just to be able to burn tires. It requires no driving skill at all. And since ppl can build 800+whp M20 turbos, a 750hp Mustang is of no interest to me.
                        The sound is nice, yes.

Any idea on how well they handle on anything thats not a straightaway?
