They actually handled half way decent, they were the only mustang to have irs and could fit 315 wide tire stock, but alot of them were converted to solid rear ends for drag racing, so they went back to the solid axle in 05 and even the new ones are solid.

Would I buy a mustang? Yes, but I wouldn't dump a bunch of money into one.

                    eh i prefer a foxbody 5.0L... :)

(buddies old mustang, had like 495 wheel on a N/A 306)

the 04 cobras handle okay and have decent susension stock, but most people swap that out for a solid rear.

I'm also not a fan of modding the hell out of an engine, just to be able to burn tires. It requires no driving skill at all. And since ppl can build 800+whp M20 turbos, a 750hp Mustang is of no interest to me.

You say it requires no driving skill, but it does indeed require skilled throttle modulation to not burn the tires. I like this car, but I'm really not into gas guzzling v8's and stone and hammer engineering. I do appreciate it for what it is though.

ok and every time i go to a junkyard i see an e30 sitting in one. does that make the e30 junk? your logic is retarded.

After getting to ride along for numerous laps at Hallett in my uncles Terminator, I would say hands down.

I would have loved to buy it when he sold it at the beginning of the summer. But the Maximum Motorsports suspension plus ~475whp + 30k miles and in immaculate condition means it was worth WAY MORE than I could/would pay for it.

let me know when a m20 turbo makes a 6 second pass. tim lynch has done it years ago... hell guys go 7's and over 180 regularly on drag radials and stock (style for you idiots) suspension.

oh yea and i will bet any amount of money you could not get into my high horsepower v8 3 speed auto car and come even a second close to my track times with a whole track day to try.
