Tiles for my garage (the plastic kind)

My next project for my house is that I want to tile the floor. Currently my floor is cement and instead of painting it I wanted to tile it. Anyone know of any sites where I can buy them from? Also if anyone has any ideas I'd like to hear them. I was thinking of doing a black and white checkerboard. Thanks

I tiled my garage and one thing to be aware of is that if you do a lot of work on your car, the tiles will come apart. I have to put boards under my the jack and jackstands to distribute the load.

I have those^...watch out for the jack stands, they will put holes in the plastic flooring. Other than that it works fine. Looks nice too. I got a black/white checkered pattern from costco a few years ago.

Don't get ceramic tiles. If you actually work on your car that is.

A jack or jack stands will damage said tiles.

The paint on rubberized floor types with optional sand, color, ect, are a great bang for your buck and truly last. The vinyl tiles as many have said, do scuff fairly easily and can/will leave gouges with repeated abuse/work.

We have Armstrong tiles... they are the industrial tiles you find in school hallways. They come in a ton of colors and will stand up to the abuse
