Holy fuck. I have haven't had a chance to watch this episode until tonight. It got so bad that my bosses at work (jokingly) told me I was fired if I didn't watch it, or that they were going to pay me to watch it at work.

    Holy fuck.

    Fuck.

Lol, I'm not all heartless. I got a little teary eyed when Beth died, especially while watching Emily on the talking dead. I'm sad to see her go especially since her and Daryl got so close but once I saw Morgan I just couldn't help but to get really excited.

Honestly, I was surprised to find out she is 29, I didn't expect her to be slightly older than me. Chris Hardwick summed it up well, she brought strength but also a vulnerable innocence to the show. In real life you can tell she's a very sweet girl too, which made her character so believable as the "light" in the group. Hershel's death was sad, and I got somewhat misty but Beth's death, the reactions from her fellow cast mates both during the show and recounting it behind the scenes and during her guest appearance on Talking Dead affected me more than I thought it would have.

She was with the cast for years, and there is a reason why the cast is so close knit, they really do become a family. When you take a step back and look at the show, how appreciative the cast and crew is of the fans, you have to give it to them. This is a special show that's not just about zombies. The human interactions and storytelling is the reason I haven't cancelled my cable. (AMC, HBO, SHO are the only networks I care about.)

Also, for those who watched T.D. - Robert Kirkman was rather quiet and clearly trying his best to hold it together as Emily's emotions couldn't be bottled up. I couldn't help but turn to my girlfriend and say, "Yeah... he's hating his life right now."

Yeah, it at least makes for a tighter timeline as to how far behind he is from the group. Only a few days it seems.

as soon as Beth picked up those scissors I knew it mean either she gets to save someone at the last second or that's it for her. I did love how Daryl, no questions asked and no hesitation aimed at Dawn's head, and her eyes widened a little bit as in "wtf have I done, no wait..." splat.

Also Rick in the opening, I was like, Shane is back!! 0 fucks given.

she really had her heart on her sleeve. all this was done back in the summer and it was so hard for her still. she was and should be really attached.
I like how she said we were all at a football field, and it started to rain so we all wound up at mellissa's house, I guess carol lives close by too.

I sat stunned when she got shot. on a bright side, good to see the guy played by Lennie James have a reaction to seeing rick grimes on the map.

Beth's surprise b-day party was held a week before the actual date by the cast. Hershel was seen on set and it was speculated that he was there for the death party for the cast. with all this, i still wonder if it might not be carol who gets axed. her recent flash backs are leading up to something.
    Nailed it.
