he has a build thread on e30tech. i haven't read it in over 2 years, but back then it was around 200 pages i think. as far as i know, he still hasn't had it painted, but i think that is the only thing its lacking.

that body kit is surprisingly sturdy. the fenders are almost 1/4" thick! you can literally grab a fender or quarter panel and lift up the car with it. he really has done an amazing job with the body work. the panel line up is about as perfect as it possibly could be.

his engine is a supercharged s52.

my 86 325es had that exact interior. I really missed that car after I sold it

I'm pretty sure most of these cars were destroyed by the end of the 90's since they were so gaudy looking.
I recall seeing one at a local repair shop. The owner was missing sections of the ground effects and overall the car just looked like poo

I was at my buddies shop last night, and he had some European Car mags from 1995-1996 and flipping through them was a reminder of what I don't miss from that time period!

Seriously, almost every other ad was a body kit. And it wasn't just Euro cars that were featured in the ads; there was this Nissan Maxima that about made my eyes bleed. Hopefully, most of these fad's stay buried in the past..
