i took it back wehn they had analogies and shti and got a 1460.

i took the new one back in march and only got halfway through my essay, but still got a 7 out of 12 on it. I ended up with a 1730.

Just make sure you know how much time you still have and don't spend too long thinking about questions (or your writing prompt)

it's 10:30pm, Everything is ready for the test.... just gotta go to sleep, then wake up, take that test, and then go to sleep again..... :D I scored 1290 on PSAT last time... and red some new sat prep questions online.. (got some CD with words to learn too) I'm phsycologically prepared... as well as mentally! Just gotta take that thing

Took the old ones in Jan = 1390. Took the new one today, as well. Seemed easier to me because the sections were shorter. A lot less math, it felt like. Essay wasn't too bad. Mine was about how work determines what a person does everyday and how they interact. I got some help, we were in an English room and I was right next to a bulletin board with a bunch of book titles on them. Gave me lots of ideas. I used The Great Gatsby as an example, but forgot about The Old Man and The Sea until after the second section. :x

That's the exact topic I had! I used different book though... I think Great Gatsby is BS... Overall, I think that the test was pretty easy... I didn't study for it for about 1.5 weeks, but the test seemed to be easy.
