Let's see. The 3GS has a much slower processor, a MUCH crappier screen (did I mention that it's crappier? It really sucks massive ass relatively speaking.) In exchange for that, you get a slightly more durable case. And yes, if you don't want to use it in a case, you lose some signal if you bridge the antennae.

I use both 3G and 4G at the moment, till my brother buys the 3G. I have also compared to 3GS.
- The speed of the processor makes work 10x faster. Opening web pages, turning the phone, GPS startup, etc. etc. It just feels (and is) so damn quick.
- The GPS shows which part of the house I'm in. 3GS showed outside and would move around, though the phone wasn't.
- camera is uncomparable
- battery life seems about 30% longer, I use the same things as on the 3G
- I can't describe the display. Whenever you show it to someone who hasn't seen it yet, they just awe. If you thought those high-end Sony TVs are sharp, think again. Plus the fact that the colors look "printed" onto the glass, not beveled, it looks like something from NASA.

I don't really care about any reviews. A lot of people just can't get over the fact that this is currently the best phone you can buy. I'm not a Mac geek, I don't own anything else with an apple on it. I just tested various devices and the iPhone suits me best.
Plus all other touch screens seem fake.

its the first phone i have actually liked since i got my first cell phone in 1999. Only thing i would add is a blinking LED to let you know when you have a message, like the BB. I dont know why they didnt do that

I could care less about either, just going on experiences. Get whatever you want. I'm not going to sit here and argue with internet superheros. Was just giving you a heads up, from a computer engineer's perspective. Wasn't saying iphones suck, was just saying the new one has flaws (a case necessary just to make the phone work? how is that acceptable)

My friend has one and its amazing, only issue is the proximity sensor thing gets a lil annoying.

Would be my next phone if it wasnt winter and i already got this bombproof thing which i love for the fact that ive taken it underwater and taken pictures and nothing hapens. Gonna be perfect for snowboarding.

Only thing not like about the iPhone 4, all iPhones for that matter, is the speaker volume, Can't hear shit. My friend has the droid and it's way louder. But other than that it's the best.

Oh, and the fact that you can't watch HD videos without a WiFi connection.

I have IPhone 4 with the Otter Box. My only complaint is it doesn't support flash.
Really awesome otherwise.

I quite like my 3GS, and do not play to get the 4, even if they completely fix all its issues. its square and ugly and my 3GS is one elegantly curved and sexy device.

i haven't had any problems with mine, and the warranty is there to back me up if anything does happen. i had to return my 3G for warranty reasons and my 3GS - not the case with my iphone 4 (yet at least)

i'm not an apple-newest-device fanboy, but the iphone is a pretty damn awesome phone no matter what you compare it to. hard to deny that.
