Got a 89 Polaris indy sport, tops out at about 60. But its still a lot of fun on the trails. Just orders new runners and ski covers, getting pretty excited.

I've been riding almost my entire life. Basically it's what we do here in Michigan during the winter lol. Don't really trail ride anymore, mostly boondock and cut my own trails.

Anyway, got my sled going a few weeks back...got me looking forward to a few trips to the UP this winter. Converted a yamaha 600 venture into a single seat, 700 triple, 1 1/2-136 inch paddled tracked, mountain max. Can basically handle anything michigan winter can throw lol. I'll snap pic's next time I'm up north

The sleds I'm looking to trade for are the only sleds I'm really interested in. I don't think I could bring myself to ride a Mustard Bucket.

Fuck, I want a sled. I want it strictly for snowboarding.

It's a great sled. it's on it's second motor and second bulkhead, but that was my fault.

EDIT: Yes, I know I need to adjust the track.

I had an 88 artic cat couger 500. It was my dads sled, he kept in in the north woods of wisconson for his anual sled trip with his friends. He would beat the piss out of it for a week, park it under a tree and throw a tarp on it when he was done, did that for about 5 years. Gave it to my friend to ride, still runs great. So I guess the key to keep them running is to abuse them.

about 85-90 on those, I had a couple many years back. My old 440 Phazer when 4 years old would barley hit 85.

Cat makes a good sled for the 1st 2-3 years they are alive, after that they earn their ditch pickle nick name, you can never seem to get ahead of fixing them you spend more time in the ditch working on it than riding it. Unless they have gotten much better in the last 10 years since I have been outta playing with sleds.
