    i don't have my own sled but i usually ride by buddies sea doo 700 or the monster 800 rev which so far we only got the speedo to touch 150mph!

      I'd be REALLY impressed if you got even close to 150.

        Move up on to the Keweenaw Peninsula, You will have more snow than you know what to do with most years. If I ever have to move back to MI or the mid west its going to be the U.P. way up there in Copper County North of H/H if I can. Problem is, unless you have a job that you can phone it in, or if you travel for a living, there is no way to make a living up there


        Track speed might say that ( all though Id be willing to bet its closer to 130 and its just % of error like any speedo)

        Track speed does not = Sled speed in a lot of situations (but then you know this already)

              the speedo hit 150 but the track was spinning a little so ya i agree with you it was probably around 130 or so

                    I am jealous of his ditch pickle! And if I was touching close to 150 on a sled I would not be looking at my speedo. I am hoping I can hit 100 on my 570 but I don't think it will be able to do it.

                      about 85-90 on those, I had a couple many years back. My old 440 Phazer when 4 years old would barley hit 85.

                      Cat makes a good sled for the 1st 2-3 years they are alive, after that they earn their ditch pickle nick name, you can never seem to get ahead of fixing them you spend more time in the ditch working on it than riding it. Unless they have gotten much better in the last 10 years since I have been outta playing with sleds.

                        I had an 88 artic cat couger 500. It was my dads sled, he kept in in the north woods of wisconson for his anual sled trip with his friends. He would beat the piss out of it for a week, park it under a tree and throw a tarp on it when he was done, did that for about 5 years. Gave it to my friend to ride, still runs great. So I guess the key to keep them running is to abuse them.

                          It's a great sled. it's on it's second motor and second bulkhead, but that was my fault.

                          EDIT: Yes, I know I need to adjust the track.

                                Really hoping for more of a trade situation. If not I'll hunt something down before snow flies hopefully.
