Ive been twice. I normally sit in section 22 or so, I think thats the second hairpin. Its a great place to sit, and it also helps that its very close (or as close as possible) to where you get off of the metro. If youre going near the start line, it could be a 30-40 min walk, which is kind of annoying with thousands of people around you.

Let me know if you've got any questions about the GP or Mtl in general

I love the big hairpin. Great braking zone, cars trying to pass, and then full throttle. Could be quite noisy though. You have many grandstands right there.

Grandstands 21-15-24 in corner #10 - Ze Hairpin

Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Only thing I've heard is that the Canadian GP is notorious for nickel-and-dimeing people.

The wife and I were actually just talking about going to Monza or Spa next year.

Spanish GP is a cheaper alternative to Monza. Stay in B&B and see the country.

Spa would be nice, but with a Fr-Sun pass and plane tickets Im under $600.
