What is the easiest way to upload pictures taken on my phone to this forum?
URL's from photobucket are too large.
I just had to figure this out 2 weeks ago when I was at a junkyard, with no computers near me, to post a picture of something to ask the members what they thought of the part I found.
This is the solution I came up with:
Went to the Facebook App and clicked on the icon to upload a picture to my wall. It asked me if I wanted to use an existing one or a new one. I chose the new picture option, and took the pic.
Then I went to Safari and went on Facebook from the browser, found the picture, copied the image address somehow (I'm still new to iPhones, I think you have to hold down on it for a sec to bring up the menu), then came here and pasted it in between the IMG tags.
URLs are too large? What? With the photobucket app you can upload then tap the [IMG] and the img code is stored in your paste buffer. Takes like 20 seconds.
I use photobucket too. email the picts from my phone to the photobucket account, they email me back with the url and I post. Don't use an Iphone but I am sure an apple can do that.
there's a photobucket AND flickr apps for the phone. they are so godamm fast and easy to use. link em here.
nothing the beats the UI of the iphone. fuck your android with your flash and your swipe, its the only thing i like about it lol but my head unit won't run it.

i use my iphone 4 to do this all the time.
i dont think your problem is the size of the url. it's the size of the actual image. downsize the image threw photobucket, and try again.
