PINKS all out

so i went to PINKS all out today at Firebird raceway today and as much as i dislike the host, i had a great time.

it was like a well run Friday night "run what you brung" . there was almost no down time without something going on. they ran a 10.02-9.70 field for the finals. a truck that my friends shop tuned made it to the final 4 before mechanical problems crapped it out on the start line (351winsor 1st gen lightning with a kenny bell on E85 running 10 flats).

was on the starting line for all of the first round of eliminations and should be on TV. saw a promod car run a 6.23. alot of cool old muscle cars.

if you like drag racing, it is the best $20 you can spend.

on a down note, i wish i could have seen BMWSOB run out there as he could have easily made it in if he dialed the car for that bracket and been on TV for sure.

I hate the host too. Alot of drama... Thats why i watch Pass Time. But i'm sure Pinks is more fun to watch there in person.

same here, cant handle the host of that show, i dont even bother watching it anymore

love pass time tho, me and my roommate always have fun trying to guess times. plus the host of that show used to do the narration for Monster Garage, which i used to watch religiously in my adolescence

i'll admit one of the reasons i went was in the hopes that the host would get on a sport bike and eat shit again.

if you see it in person, you don't have to listen to him 90% of the time because the track announcer is doing all the talking on the PA.

the host is such an idiot and knows so little about cars that 70% of the time when he was talking, he could not even describe what cars were running correctly. he could not even tell the difference between a Mercury Capri and a Fox body Mustang (or even a Cougar).

if you see the host in person he is even more bro/douchey. he struts around in his extra-medium t-shirt like an idiot.

but seriously, if it comes to your town go. it's a blast!
