I don't get why they picked two guys that clearly can't drive performance cars well.

I thought the Halo jumper and the Ford/Hennesey Velociraptor race made for some good action.

I can make an E30 round the track faster than a stock M3 for a hell of a lot less, doesnt make the E30 the better car.

I kind of figured the other two would have stunt doubles. Hamster and May are not great drivers, but Hamster can still light up the tires.
TGUS should send the other two hosts to a driving school so we can hopefully see some real driving from them.

What TGUS can do is help boost US domestic car manf. The VelociRaptor flick was good. Made me want one.
Even in TGUK you can feel their lean towards British made cars, specially the Land Rovers.

I watched the GM episode just now, it wasn't terrible, but as far as cars go, it wasn't really great either... I think all three are getting better chemistry and what not, but the show itself just wasn't super interesting.

I think its sweet to have another car show. However calling it top gear is like calling top ramen fine french noodles. Its just not the same, but taken with a grain of salt... it will do till the next real top gear episode comes out.
