    How to import wheels?

I'm trying to purchase a set of Borbet Type A 16x9 wheels from the UK. They seem to have the best price, but the problem is, do I have to pay any additional taxes when it gets shipped to the US to pass customs?

I'm not planning on reselling them, they are just for my personal use.

    Thanks!

of course you do, unless the person selling them to you lies and writes on the package that they are a gift.
not sure what the taxes are though going into the u.s.

From what I made out from your post you are buying new from Europe? Why not buy new from Borbet? They are under 1,200 for a set, somehting like 1,100?

I was trying to find out how to buy directly from them, but I didn't see a link to their own store. It just says check for retailers. The retailers I saw are all in the UK.

Call their place in AL and see what they say. Otherwise are the prices from Tunershop or Tirerack a lot higher than the UK prices?

Ok thanks. The prices from tunershop are a tad higher, but they mentioned something about only have 2 in inventory for the 16x9.
