damn its hard to put your dog down.

I came home one night from my dads house when i was 10 to find a little brown and white boarder collie wrapped in a red bow. he was the cutest puppy id ever seen. my mom had got him for me for Christmas and we would wrestle around the Christmas tree. He had a great life with lots of love, we treated him like a human. I'm spending my last moments with him now as he licks the tears from my face. sorry to be a bummer but this seems to help somehow. thanks for reading.

I just went through this last October with my 14 year old Choclate lab. it is sad, it sucks, but when the moment is right it is the kindest act you can do for your best friend. Good luck

he's 15, going blind, has bad arthritis, falls a lot and runs into walls. we spent $1000 about 6 months ago for a hematoma in his ear and now he has it in his other ear.

sorry to hear that man. I know how it feels. As kid growing up had a dog that was 6 months younger than me. he was 16 when we had to put him down. very sad times.

I'm sorry about the dog. A dog is honestly a mans best friend, they don't have mood swings like women do and are always there for you. Hopefully you can get another dog to ease the pain a little.

I did the same thing on dec 23rd last year. The memory of watching her last moments haunts me to this day. Always brings me to tears.

It's one of the few times it's ok for a man to cry.

Oh dude that sucks, I'm sorry you have to go through this :(

I just had to put my little dog down a few weeks ago. He was a Malteese and Yorkie mix, about 7 pounds, and the best-natured dog I've ever meet. My wife and I really loved him. He was only 3 years old, got hit by a car and broke his back; we had to put him asleep too. RIP Hunter.

I'm sure you've done everything you can. Sometimes it is best to let them drift off to sleep peacefuly and with some dignity.

I know your pain bro, my dashund i had for 14 years drowned in the pool spa at my mom and dads house when i was at work in the winter(in 1992). I have another dashund i have had now for another 14 years(since 1996)and she's kicking it good but not looking forward to putting her down when the time comes around. It gets me upset just thinking about it.........R.I.P for your beloved best friend.
