I saw the original back in 1982. It was the first "computer movie" and it was a technological breakthrough. But hey, PacMan was the shit too. I can't wait to see the sequel.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Your prediction was DEAD FUCKING WRONG.
This was the the best sci-fi movie I've seen in a VERY long time. A worthy successor to the original, and the first movie that I've actually been glad I spent the money for to see in 3D.
And Daft Punk is in it. WIN.Comment

You can't really blame Daft Punk. This soundtrack is clearly not a free for all, do as you wish, type of album. They are definitely following a LOT of the themes from the original Tron. They have one or two cool songs where you can actually jam to, but understandably almost the entire soundtrack is background music for stuff in the movie.
Now, I have yet to watch the movie, and won't get the opportunity for a few weeks, but I'm willing to bet the music will be tied in really well with the scenes.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube
