Thats right... I bought a CD at full price.

Wasting time today at Best Buy. Looking at anything and everything, ended up in the cd section before long. I told myself I was going to buy a Muse cd after the concert to support them. So I found their stuff, only had one of their releases but it was a good one. (Absolution) Also decided to pick up S.C.I.E.N.C.E. because its one of the greatest albums ever put together. This is Incubus for all you wondering what is going on.

I just went and bought the VH best of both worlds double disc. Favorite band of all time, and just had to break down and buy it. Other than that, I REFUSE to pay 13-20 some odd dollars for a cd i can download and burn for pennies. Stupid RIAA is right!

The new music is not at all the same.

Science was a good album, anything after is garbage, which is really to bad. I always buy CD's you never get the cool books, cool lookin CD's and extra disc's or DVD's when you DL it. Plus as a musian i know how hard it is to make a buck selling your music.

Werd, it's at least the LAST one of theirs I enjoyed. Definitely one of my favorite rock albums, the new stuff is just utterly boring to me.

On a related-to-the-thread-note, I do download a ton of music, but I also purchase a lot. Most of the stuff I download is either music I used to have but no longer own, stuff I liked a long time ago, or random things friends tell me about. There's just about no way to find new music if all you do is download. I go to the 2 local independent record stores for my new stuff, the clerks all tell me about badass new stuff that's just come out, from underground/indie bands and the like. I would say for about every full album I download, I buy 2.

If you ever feel like buying another Muse album, Showbiz is a good pick, either that or Origin of Symmetry, they're both filled with some good music. 8)

All versions have the long version of Calgone IIRC. The remastered sounds cleaner and is a bit louder. The bass is too heavy on the original release and sounds kinda muddy.
