I was actually involved in shooting an episode of man vs wild. Bear Grylls is definitely a bit of an odd one but his film crew are a bunch of ex-British military guys who like to drink, some pretty interesting stories there. Man Vs. Wild isn't all that realistic. I don't know how much more I can say without violating the confidentiality agreement lol.
