    Members in Peru?

    Hey guys

Anyone one on here from Peru? I'm leaving Saturday to go down there, flying into Lima, then on to Cuzco & Machu Picchu. Got the whole trip planned except for a place to stay in Lima on Saturday night, probably just looking to grab a hostel or something, but wanted to see if anyone's got any recommendations. Also just general tips and stuff for the week I'll be there.

I seem to remember at least one member down there, drives a blue turbo'd car I think? Can't find him off hand....

    Thanks!

Sorry to not be on topic, but what are you going down there for? I stayed in and near Quito, Ecuador for 3 weeks. It was awesome, South America is a lot fun.

"The Camry is an appliance, not a car. It attracts folks who have the same regard for driving that they have for washing dishes,
i.e. it's a necessary but somewhat unpleasant chore and they want something to make the task a little easier and insulate them from the process."

I did that trip back in 2008, I remember seeing a blue e30 like that in Mira Flores.

My fiance and I are staying a day in Cuzco, hiking Machu Picchu, and then hitting Aguas Calientes for a day before we fly back to the states on Christmas Eve. Should be a fun trip, last continent I've not been to except for Antarctica (not planning that one any time soon :)). The trip is actually a college graduation gift from her mother last year. Should be a pretty cool/different experience.

Gotta say, go to Peru and see a turbo e30, that'd be a trip!

        (pun intended)
