I used it. and as long as you are perfect with your drag its fine, but once you get a little screwy and its starts trying to predict things it becomes more frustrating than I found to to be worth. I went back to the standard keyboard

I use it. I turned off the 'predictive typing' option or whatever it is and it suddenly got wayyyy better at understanding what I'm typing. The only time I don't like it is when my fingers get sticky and then they don't slide across the screen very well haha. On a Samsung Captivate fwiw.

I use it on my Samsung Fascinate. I hated it at first but after a week I loved it. Makes things a lot quicker.

Lately I've been using the voice to text option instead, especially while in the car. I can respond to e-mails without being extra brief and still do it quickly.

Haha, I figured. It seemed fitting giving the context! :)

I have yet to set that up.

So far my impression of the Motorola Defy is pretty good. It has a glass screen (put the protective film on it for posterity sake) and can be submersed in water up to 2' which is great for me since I have a bad habbit of having my phone in a chest pocket of certain shirts and bending over say, a bucket of water. Subsequently, the damn things sturdy as hell. Also good as I'm known for being very, very hard on phones.

I didn't even want a smart phone for this very reason, but I'm really impressed. Having 4G, GPS, Navigation, e-mail, text and web pretty much anywhere (with the capability of being hooked up via Wi-Fi at home) all for $15.00 a month kicks ass.

Still getting used to swype. After a few it comes a bit more naturally.

i use it, and it learns over time, so it gets used to your weirdo ways of sliding your fingers. I have a keyboard on my phone, and I rarely use it anymore because of swype.
