I was pleasantly surprised with how well my car did with snow tires. I wouldn't think a 97 Town Car with an open diff could get through and up what it did.
^^Man I had a 2007 Subaru WRX wagon that was insane in the snow, far better than every SUV and 4x4 I've ever had! That's what I sold to buy my first e30!
I love Subarus but HATE the hoods. I am in love with the 2011 STi models, the body and hoods tie everything together. Cheap and FUCKING fast.
The Subaru of mine does well. If it ever got serious I would imagine snow tires would make this Legacy a dream in the snow. Now last year, three foot snow dump even plow trucks had it tough . Otherwise AWD FTW

Sadly enough we did not get much of anything for snow. I like it for Christmas day, then it can melt away. I can see plenty of patches of ground where the snow is not covering. I guess I am lucky =)
