I still get bragging rights even though it would be a lawn ornament though, right? I would become one of the elite?

There are some good ones in that range hanging by a thread- Id say close to being gone, but not quite.

trust me on this.. if you buy a 15k one, you need at least 10k set aside, a 20k one, 5k set aside. spend 25k and you can pick one up that needs basically nothing. these are 20+ year old cars with high strung motors with expensive parts. if you are not planning to drive it, then yeah maybe but I buy cars to drive, not look at.

Especially at that high of miles, my buddies 80k mile e46 m3 is starting to make my e36 m3 look reliable.

                            MK2 Escort 2door for about 3k.

~5k on coil overs, brakes and converting to a four link rear.

~5k doing a Zetec conversion on Megajolt light with Mikuni CV carbs from a Yamaha R1. Using a Sierra Type 9 gearbox and a decent LSD from Quaife.

Whatever is left over would go to making it look nice.

This one is pretty much perfect, only thing I would change is adding the Mexico side stripes to match the Mexico front chin spoiler.

                                chaos theory, meanwhile in America.

Regardless. Since I'm in Michigan I would buy a e46 ix wagon.

But if I didn't have snow to deal with i would buy a factory five type 66.
