    Anybody in Long Beach, California?

I want to purchase a $150 vintage power amp from a dude in Long Beach. He won't take Paypal, and won't ship. I'd need a good soul to pick it up for me, and then pack it and ship it to me.

Basically, I would send you money thru Paypal, plus a little Massive gift by mail for your time. Anyone?

Must be done quickly. I can send funds in the morning.

Thanks everyone. Ben is in charge of picking a 48lbs late 1970s Yamaha P2200 power amp. The third in my collection. ;-)
It looks like Ben got himself a free M Technic footrest, if this is someting he'd want...

Follow up here. After spending half a day trying to reach the owner of the amp, and almost giving up, Ben and I finally got a reply from Rocco. Ben set an appointment today, before going to work and picked up the 43lbs beast, making big rips in his back seat ;-)

Here's a pic or two of the mofo. Fresh from Ben's cell phone.

          Thanks very much Ben

Those amps were made from 1978 to 1983. They sre about the same vintage as the e21 chassis, older than our beloved e30s. But they have the same ruggedness and attention to design and construction. And they seem to last forever.

BTW here's the ad to which I replied

Now another ad from the same area

Either several peoples are using the same pictures. Or the amp I bought was reduced in price from the other ad. $150.00 was a great deal anyway.

Could have been the same guy , he lived on the border of Orange County ,plus the posted date is from the 21st of dec. maybe he did drop the price.
ether way from what ive read , For what you paid and how much shipping is you still got a hell of a deal.

One of the two Yamaha amps I purchased will power a pair of these. I just put the final touch. Drivers are early 1980s 2235h infra bass units. This is my "office" BTW, where all the little parts are designed and ordered ;-)
