as a side note, my d300s does 7fps which is close enough to 8 anyway, so i just use 2 EN-L3s.
I use 8AA to get the better fps. I love eneloop rechargeable batteries. They are awesome and a good value.

Richard, how do you like your T2i?
I'm seriously considering one very soon as a replacement/upgrade from my Xti

...and i've been looking at lenses as well, I've got some friends that would like to pay me to shoot their wedding this spring, so i need to upgrade asap
...what hasn’t been done to an m20 yet?

Grips on small cameras are a necessity with big glass. My rebel with a 70-200 f/2.8 is unusable for me without a grip (ham fists). Shop used, I bought my Canon grip for half the price of new, and it was barely used.

          Keep it slideways!!

I have the EN-EL4a and I love it. The battery lasts 1000s of shots and it lighter than the 8 AAs.

The t2i is sick. The only thing I don't like is that it's not weather sealed like a 7d or higher cams. So I refuse to use it in alot of weather, which is limiting. My sister upgraded to a t2i from an Xsi and was blown away.

I went with the Opteka grip after reading good reviews. Installed today, it is excellent quality. Looks almost exactly like the canon body and rubber. I paid $46, couldn't imagine paying three times that for OE. Hope this helps someone make their decision.
