I had a buddy that told me he found his online a couple months ago for $209 + shipping.
I was hoping to get a wheel/stand setup for around $300, not $400+

Although probably not as good as the g27, if you wanted to save money you could get this wheel. It has the shifter as well as clutch pedal. Its the one I'm looking at getting. I watched some reviews online said it was a good wheel for the price but g27 had stronger force feed back.

I saw a used g25 and a WheelStand Pro for $200.00 a while back, but it was beat.
Looks like the best bet is the one you found and the Xlerator stand. It is sold out till late Feb anyway.
I was thinking about getting the PVC stand from "Red River Golf" on eBay. One of the guys at work has one and said it's pretty nice, and it collapses down to go in a closet and can double as a laptop stand/tv tray.
I figured I'd drill a hole in the bottom tubes and fill them with lead shot or sand or something to make it even more stable.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com
