Would AAA tow me? (Or any suggestions)

Depends what level of membership you have with AAA.

AAA Classic gets you a Free 7 Mile Tow
AAA Plus will tow you up to 100 miles at no additional charge.
AAA Premier gets you one 200 mile tow for free.

Depends on your AAA plan, go see which one you have. If you aren't a memeber I think they make you wait a month or something for new members before you can get a tow , not positive though.

My suggestions are to buy a car that works or to bring one of those Uhaul dollys with you. Let the owner send you some service reciepts and see what might need work. Then go a day early and find a place or pay a shop to change out belts and water pump, brake pads etc if you think they might need it. Then bring some basic tools and fluids the Bentley manual and drive her home.

I think AAA only tows for free for the first few miles, then charges a fee after that. Not sure if they will go out of state or not. How far is it?

So, within the next couple of weeks I'm hopefully going to be looking at an E30. Its out of state, and from a private owner. I have only bought from the dealer (once) so far, and I'm not exactly sure how to approach this. Assuming I buy the car, would AAA tow it to my home? If so, for how much? The thing is that I'm not sure whether I'm going to make it a track build or not, so I plan to keep it in my driveway for now at least, until I decide. If anybody recommends other ways, let me know.
