Wash pinto beans.
Throw in a pot with bacon and an onion chopped in half.
Salt n Pepper.
Cook for hours.
Eat.

Oh yeah, remove onion n bacon and feed to the dogs.

For refried beans just get another pan and add a slab of butter and some beans; maybe some cheese.
