Sometimes employers must interview 3 or more candidates. Sometimes the hiring manager will pick 2 out of the list that has no chance to get the job in order to make the 3rd candidate stand enough to get hired. Good luck.

phone interview and 2 interview at car max,did lots of paper work for drug test and other things. But they will let me know if I'm hire or not next week.

my previous job are just bs high school jobs,looking to have a career in carmax as a mechanic. Have two years experiment under table type of job with a 30year master mechanic and i pass my ase brake test.

Expect to hate your job if you get hired. Period.

Were you applying because of the radio ads?
Carmax is one of the worst car jobs ever. It's a good way to learn the different cars out there though.

They will probably ask situational questions, like..

"If Johnny the manager asked you to do a trans flush, but you were busy replacing a caliper, what would you do?"
"If Steve the head technician asked you to smoke marijuana in the janitorial closet and told you that if you dont, he would get you fired, what would you do?"

Answer them for practice.

I actually got this exact question at an interview before...needless to say, I nailed it.
