He was already mortally shot in the back before he lurked behind the desk it says. Maybe that's why he didn't unload on the two cops on the floor, he was already half-way dead and dying right before stumbling.

Not being sarcastic, just trying to understand your logic on what the video shows(a nut with a GUN) going into a police station to randomly shoot at people has anything to do with non police officers carrying a gun.

Lucky for the police, the shooter was using bird shot, which is what saved the lives of the police. Any heavier loads and it would have been a different story.

Because a nutcase like this Moore guy could walk into any store at any time. I don't want to be hiding and watching my friends and family get shot at when instead i could have shot the gunman and saved some lives.

i bet he couldn't get a hand gun due to being a felon (or Detroit doesn't allow them, don't know their laws) so he used a shot gun. take that away and i bet he would have used a knife.
