Due Date, for those who missed it...

you have to go watch it. I'm not a big Galifianakis fan but when teamed up with other actors, it makes for a hilarious movie. I did not think it would be that great but it's insanely hilarious! It's at the discount theaters here so maybe you can still catch it on the big screen...

I forgot to hang around to see if there was a gag reel after the credits. Does anyone know?

I heard they tried to do a spin-off of Planes Trains and Automobiles, that it had no plot, the story was completely unbelievable, the jokes weren't funny, and the characters had no depth. I have yet to meet a single person who actually liked that movie.

gotta be the why so serious people in my book and WTF is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles???

Ah, yes. Well if critics are going to relate it to a 1987 movie starring Steve Martin and John Candy then I wouldn't expect any good comments.

anything with Steve Martin and/or John Candy is just not my type of movie and not the generation of movies I really watched anyways. I wouldn't expect anyone who likes that type of comedy or they're type of comedy to be able to relate to much of today's anyways...

Due Date, was funnier than the Hangover...

EDIT: Couple of exceptions to the above would be Three Amigos and Ghostbusters.

Steve Martin and John Candy were not in Ghostbusters.
Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
Mark: "Didn't you just break a rocker arm?"
Me: "Yeah, I don't think I've learned my lesson."
                Mark: "You never will."

Obviously you have never seen "Uncle Buck" or "Who's Harry Crumb?".

Oh yeah, "Barf", ok so there are a few exceptions, but in the case of Steve Martin and John Candy, Three Amigos and Spaceballs definitely do it.

due date was fucking garbage...one of Galifianakis' worst roles yet IMO. i (as well as most people probably) went to see this movie expecting something at least as good as the hangover. danny mcbride's part was also way too short and not funny at all.

get him to the greek was way better...although not my favorite either.

Due date was hilarious. I did get that planes trains, auto feeling, which was awesome! When they hot box the Range Rover... I busted a gut! But no, no the best part was when Galifianakis busts downey jr. out of the mexican holding room I could not stop laughing.

People who dont like this movie are reading wayyy to much into it.

It was mediocre at best, there was no character development and it never really flowed. It had it's moments but it was nowhere near as funny as Trains, Planes & Automobiles.
