I think the fact that is was such a big sub is what saved him. It probably got trapped by the body of the car. A smaller sub would have found a way...



No idea what really happened, but if the lady was waiting to turn, and in the intersection, light turns red and she proceeds to clear the intersection - legal. Or, she got a green to turn left - legal.

A lot of people have a hard time judging closing distance of moving cars, even at normal speeds. And most just cant expect someone to be driving well over 2x the legal limit. A car travels a LOT of distance at those speeds. It looks like there is a crest/hill there too. She might not have even seen the vette when she started the turn...


The street just isn't the place for driving like that.

the thing is kids let the shit go to their head.. since 9 i was hauling ass riding shotgun in my brothers e30 m3. i always wanted to go fast since then. i was lucky i got away with some of the shit i was doing when i was 16.. (nothing as bad as flying down a residential street doing 130) but still.. it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
