Anyone use or have used a canne?

Ok so this year I spent new years eve at the hospital getting these installed:

So today I went for a check-up (x ray) and the doctor told me that on the 22nd of february
(my next appointment) It will be safe to lose the crutches. But he also
told me that I would need physiotherapy for at least a month and that I would need a cane.

So I went to the few shops around town where they sell canes and all they
had was either some cheap molded plastic or some adjustable aluminum ones.

I couldn't find one that I liked so I looked on the web and found this one that

My insurance will pay up to 80$ than I pay the difference...

Is it a good choice? Or am I picky too picky?

My ankle has all those screws, I have a couple that were taken out too. Plus up my leg I have six screws holding my tib/fib together.

Yes, although everyone makes fun of me, I occasionally use a cane. It really is a pain in the ass and everyone thinks you're trying to be like 'house.' Anywho, the old person metal expandable ones work great but look lame. I've kept an eye out in thrift shops and antique stores for the ideal pimp cane, but I haven't found it yet. I just borrow my dad's old one when my ankle acts up.

They gave me a cd with a program on it to display the images. with the program
you can change the contrast of each xray images.

No only for a bit more than a month... I'd like to get a nice one to keep and
remind me of my stupidy...Yeah all this could have been easily avoided.

Hmm wheelchairs are the shit though. I can hold wheelies with wheels half off the ground standing still and going through the halls of my high school :)

A wheel chair is fun for an hour or so... I only spent 2 days in one while I was
at the hospital and I couldn't wait to get my crutches...and now I can't wait
to get a cane... one leg is cool? no its not trust me. I don't wish this to anyone

I broke my femur in my stump, and was in a chair for a good month and a half or so. Id been in chairs plenty of times before, but my overprotective Mom never let me take the wheelie bars off. So yeah with them off its a whole new world. I love being super fast and smooth, not a herky jerk like arun and still hella fast.

But I cant run also, so yeah
