Who saw LOTR in theatre?

3 hours? Must be the short version. The extended cut is almost 4 hours. For each one.

Saw Return of the King in theaters. Worth every minute.

Last weekend i watched all three with friends while playing the LOTR drinking game. I seriously suggest it.

Probably the greatest movies ever made, which follows logically because the books were the greatest books ever written. And I suggest watching the full version, which is actually over four hours for The Return of the King, the other two are about four hours each.

If you are watching the shortened theater version, turn it off and get the full version. They really cut out alot of good stuff to get them short enough to be able to show in theaters.

You just now watched LOTR??? IMO its the best trilogy. The extended edition is awesome, good way to spend a lazy sunday.

things got pretty fuzzy after two towers and it was all downhill from there. Superb hang over the next day.

I was quite young (still am I suppose) and I did not enjoy it.

Then again I'm not a movie freak nor lord of the rings fan.

Geez. I feel old. I saw all three original Star wars movies in the theater. The first when I was 4 when they re-released it 1979. Still better than LOTR.
