I could do a 2dr, I just can't stand the way 4drs look. The short front door and extra break in the body for the back door just looks terrible to me. I do like the idea of going 5 lug and running some "normal" looking wheels to be sleeperish.

I just wonder how much tire the thing is going to need to be able to put down that kind of power.

235/40/17s on 17x8 isn't exactly sleeperish looking on an E30.

Only Italian bikes I've ridden are Aprilias', the midrange TQ thos Vtwins make is almost scary.

The reason this started tempting me was when I looked around at prices. If you are willing to settle for a "new" '09-10 model, you can buy an R6 for less than $8000 out here. That's less than I paid for my '04 R6 new in August of '04!

I've already built a car with an S52 swap. It was quick, but it wasn't the "brutal" experience I want to create.

I've ridden one Aprilia RSVR Mille, and it was an excellent bike. Not as expensive to maintain as a Duc, but they just don't do it for me in the "looks" department. It was a very, very quick bike though, front wheel came up a lot quicker than I expected and nearly dumped me on my ass!

I just think if you have an e30 now, you should take advantage of the opportunity to get a great Italian bike while your back/knees/wrist/body can still handle riding proper sportbikes :)
