Quick enough, comfortable, relatively reliable & easy to maintain, good in snow (with proper tires) & great on road trips. Has enough technology for a good driving experience, and last but not least, classic BMW styling

this for a few reasons. a 1972 BMW 2002tii. stock (mostly)
big trunk
no smog required
you can work on the motor - no computers
its going up in value
people smile and wave when you drive by
and you need to be a driver to go quick
