So there are now 75 dead and 300 missing.
Cavalry's arriving from around the world including 75 odd search and rescue blokes from NSW and some from Queensland apparently, and 300 odd police are on the way. Good ol' Aussie waffleswaffleswaffleswaffless.

Still trying to get people out of the rubble. Some poor Jap bugger had to have his leg amputated to get him out etc etc.

Airports open again but all the flights in and out are chocka, wife cant get a flight untill tomorrow midday. International tourists are being flown to Wellington and being put up any hotel room they can find.

80% of Christchurch is without water and that water that is on is likely contaminated. Power is out to about half the city. There are small fires burning about the place.

It's a fuckin state.

Oh, and they just pulled another person out of the PPG building alive, so some good news.
