    Your favorite documentaries?

I've been watching a lot of documentaries lately, as opposed to movies, on Netflix. I just wanted to see if anyone else has and what you've been watching?

Docs I've watched recently that I really enjoyed:

    The Parking Lot Movie
    Exit through the gift shop
    Freakonomics

    Anyone other suggestions?

I tried watching the Parking Lot with a couple friends, they didn't like it, so I didn't finish it. Did it get any more interesting? Any e30's?

Anything with serial killers or psychopaths, Ted Bundy is a personal favorite. The Taboo documentary is really cool. The Super size me one was nuts, also Walmart one is pretty cool.

I have watched almost every documentary on Netflix, keeps me sane in the winter time.

Tapped was good. I also enjoyed Exit Through the Gift Shop. I have been going through Netflix, lots of liberal lean in a lot of documentary productions of late.

Oh my god. I didn't think anyone else had ever seen American Movie. I saw it like 8-10 years ago and loved it.

I also liked the The Parking Lot Movie and Freakonomics.

I've been watching a lot of war docs, and ones about random history. This weekend I watched a NatGeo doc about the Medici.

At pawi30, yeah, if you've never worked in a real service type industry I can see how you wouldn't get it. Like server/gas station attendant or something. I worked at QT for years in high school and college, so I could completey identify with the slow process of beginning to hate civilization.

Have you done any reading about the supposed "hoax" aspect of it?

One of my all-time favorites is "The Fog of War"

It's a documentary about Robert F. MacNarmara, who went from being the president for Ford Motor Company, to the secretary of defense during the Cuban missile crisis and Vietnam. It's pretty incredible some of the shit that he reveals.
