If a guy ever broke up with me in a public place, I'd be so mad. Especially someone I'd been dating for 4 years. Good for you I guess, sounds like you got out of something you weren't happy with, but you're a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles for doing it in public so she couldn't make a scene or whatever your reasoning was.
By "waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles," she means genius. 8)

So a girl would be a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles when they do this exact same shit to a guy? Orrrr........ does it just make it ok 'cause they're bitches anyways?
Youth + relationships = immanent failure. I graduated in 2005, and have watched nearly every relationship fall apart for one of two reasons: a. she realizes he's a dead-beat, or b. she got fat or became a bitch.
Once reality/the real world sets in, the blinders come off.

Good for you OP.
Anyone who does this in public, male or female, is just a dick. They're taking the easy way out. And it's so disrespectful to the person you're breaking up with. After that much time together the least you can do is be courteous about the breakup.

Or they're smart. If they know the relationship is over and irreconcilable, why sit through unnecessary drama? I think one shoul be nice in the delivery, but there's no reason to deal with the emotions afterward. That's what her friends are for.

Depends on the scenario really. I just broke up with my g/f at the end of January, we were together for 3 yrs. The relationship was already on the rocks at this point...
So we were at a friends b-day party and she started talking to me about whats going on with our relationship blah blah blah, so I flat out said, this is not an appropriate setting but she kept fucking digging. I told her its over right then and there, I'd like to think that I did the right thing. IMO that was an asshole thing of HER to do.

They guy was courteus, he fed the girl and then dumped her.
Unless I missed something, that's how a man should break up in person. Women just love to make scenes, and putting them in a controlled arena like the olive garden, its perfect, keeps the drama to a minimum............
Well my 9 month relationship just ended on mutual terms. I guess I was lucky with that; not too much drama. But we each had the respect for eachother to talk about it and come to a decision. I guess if you really don't give a fuck, a flat out clean break works. But if I'm with someone, they're not only my bf but they're my friend and I expect to be treated as such.

Ray Ban, this is what separates men from women, you put too many emotions into shit. And if you're still friends with the ex? That just means that you were and still are fuck buddys, has nothing to do with respect and all that mumbo jumbo.
