                  Why does it matter? It's some guy's 3D model. I don't think it has anything to do with BMW.

                      it's some good photoshop and great modeling work but does it really matter that much? the "new" m1 concept bmw actually released looks nothing like this model.

                                  The rendering in the OP looks like the guy started with a F458 3D model and tweaked the styling a bit. don't like it at all, the front is hideous.

                                  I like the M1 concept, so long as if the make it, they put a proper M motor in it and not some hybrid BS.
