    Motorola Defy crapped.

Seriously irritated right now. Shit's stuck on "M" boot up and I can't seem to fix it (obviously).

Any suggestions? Tried pulling the battery and leaving it out, plugging it in, ect, ect...

have you tried doing a hard reset? it will wipe your phone back to factory settings and you lose everything but it may get it working again. Check your owners manual on how to do it with the phone off. did you download any updates or anything prior to this happening?

      Negative.

I clicked Pandora, switched "Stations" and it got looped in "Loading" for literally, the 18 minute drive home. Pulled the battery (probably a bad thing) and haven't had it boot yet.

Ya. Hard reset. Simple key sequence I'm sire you can Google easily. My Q9 was simply holding two buttons during boot-up. Fresh start. Try that. I doubt it got bricked just from what you described.

Just recently right? My Defy has been dropping the 3g symbol and thus loosing all data connection. I have to put it in airplane mode then back out of airplane mode to jump start it.

Yeah it sounds like a soft brick. I am not very familiar with that phone so I am not sure how to get it unstuck. On a side note slacker radio ftw lol.

I'll head down to T-Mobile a bit later today and sort it out hopefully. It's only... (wait for it) three months old.

I love the Defy. Besides this, I haven't any issues at all with it ;)

Yea but Im just not feeling the whole android thing. Its too gimmicky and not enough business. I would love to have a phone with DOS.

Heh, I love my Defy. That's why I'm so bummed. The screen, the speed, the over all intrusive app's that slow shit down.

If you root the bad boy and do custom roms you can do just about anything with it.
