69 GTX, 383 automatic. Fresh restoration by a well known Mopar restoration shop. They wanted $3300 for it, which unfortunately was a bit out of reach for a parts driver back in 1990 (21 years ago).Leave a comment:

In 1972 I was offered a 1966 Shelby GT350 for $1800.
The car had less than 50k miles. The seller was the original owner.
I didn't buy it because I had two Barracuda projects in the works.
Someone please kick me squarely in the arse.
It was identical to this:

There were tons of cars I wanted back in the day that were cheap, I remember looking at Ford RS200 ads in the back of Autoweek for 5k and other really neat cars cheap. Really kick myself in the ass for not picking one of those up. At the same time a neighbor up the street had an R5 turbo for about the same price.Leave a comment:

That is a toss up between an Evo9 and that for my next car.
No...that is a bad deal xD All the e36 is good for is parts to the e30.Leave a comment:

I know, the 328is was retarded and I sold it less than a year later for a los :(
There's one around here for $16,000...I passed up a 1984 Porsche Slantnose for 15k. I tried to sell my 635 and two e30s but I did not get any buyers fast enough. The reason the guy was selling so cheap was his dealership was going under and he was trying to sell off the lot before he was stuck with a bunch of debt.
I will never see a deal like that again

I passed up a mint E30 M3 for 5k with a blown motor about 6 years ago. Dammit.Leave a comment:

Didn't buy this rust free '86 325e that a friends neighbour had parked in his driveway. 100% rust free, drove fine, guy wanted a grand, didn't have anywhere to park the car for a month while I went on vacation. Wrecked my car two weeks after I got back, and that one was gone. Failboat.Leave a comment:

I deeply regret not buying an Ariel Atom, instead of a brand new E46 M3.Leave a comment:

I just passed up a 325i touring. I wish I would have bought it but something just seemed off on it like the cluster had been swapped. Was in km/h but the rest of the cluster was the us cluster which was weird.Leave a comment:
