The fact that it's on PC is what makes me want to get it, since i don't have a ps3 or xbox. From what i've seen so far it looks like a good mix of simulation and arcade style. I just hope all the cars aren't fuh raze
I went back and re-visited Shift 2, on the PC this summer. I was not too impressed back when it came out, but on the PC, the mods that have been created since 2011 make it a completely different experience. The physics models have been polished, as has the steering feel. I have been Simracing for a long time, and Shift 2 modded has the best feedback and level of control I have ever experienced. The E30 M3 in the game, feels pretty much just like my car does at the limit. And the AI are actually fun to compete against. They don't stupidly knock you out if you get a better line and get your nose in there first.
