One from my dad: His house growing up was on the corner of a main-ish street and a side street. He was out mowing the lawn and an old woman came up on the side street on the other side of the main road and stopped as she was supposed to (surprisingly). A motorcycle was coming down the main road and as he got to the intersection the old lady just went through, hitting him. The bike went down, but the guy ended up on the hood of the car. The woman just kept driving with the guy on the hood so he started banging on the windshield to get her to stop. Her reaction: turn on the windshield wipers....

They can't judge speed very well, apparently 45 mph through an intersection looks like 5 mph and is okay to make that turn on red then proceed to travel at 5 mph after turn is made.

worked at a hospital with tons of confused old people . well this one time there this old women went to go around the wrong side of a lift arm to get into the dr parking lot...aka restricted parking. she goes to squeeze around the arm "on the wrong side mind you" and freaked when she realized it was to close and smashed on the gas and got her car stuck on a giant ass rock



and not to mention how many times this would happen, its hard to explain but where i parked "red jeep" is about a 3 min walk so its really far away people would park right next to me or infront of me and id be the only car parked there....why the FUCK would you park right on me with all the other fuckin spots!!!!

Saw two old people backing out of their parking spaces at Kroger. Backed right into each other. I went inside the store and didn't see anything. Was pretty funny though.

I once saw an old man mostly run a red light, He realized it was red 3/4 through and just stopped in the middle of the intersection till the light turned green. Another time, I saw a some old women in a Chevy Lumina attempt to back out of a parking lot, They backed right into a metal guard rail not once but three times before getting the car parallel enough to scrape their way out into the street, didn't even get out to check out the damage. Just kept going link nothing happened.

Driving through Santa Barbara, in the height of that freeway construction, in an old ford tempo with a friend. We'll traffic instantly stopped and we just barely didn't hit the old lady in front of us but then some high off his ass dude plowed into us to what felt like 40-50 mph which then made us hit her at a very slow speed. The tempo literally didnt exist from the trunk to the back of the front seats.

While we're getting out of our wreck the old lady jumps and we asked her if she was alright. We both looked like we just got pretty fucked up from the hit but her first reaction wasn't to acknowledge our question but just to yell at us about a scratch we might of caused that could seriously be buffed out. I mean she was yelling at two guys who looked like they just survived a bomb blowing up near them.

Old woman backed into my 325es at the mall. Popped my DB bumper on one side and broke the other. I ran after her and she screamed out her window to stay back...

Long time ago when my Best friend and I were stopped at a red light an old woman pile drived the rear of his Saturn. She backed up passed us then ran the light and drove into the elderly community. Opened her garage and closed the garage door. We followed her the whole time, a Neighbor came out and got us her information for the insurance. It was a crazy day, whip lash out the ass.

Personally havent been involved in an accident but they all scare the shit out of me. Heard some story about some lady backing out of her driveway while there a marathon going by on her street, ran over and killed like three people, then pulled forward and ran them over again.

Drove by an accident about a minute after it happened. Woman was turning left on a green with no green arrow, couldnt see the motorcyclist wearing bright colors comming straight through the light. Him and the bike was under the car. She was still at the wheel with this blank look on her face trying to figure out what happened. Made me never want a bike again.

I hate every buick that came after the GNX. They are slow, bland, pieces of unimaginative, floaty handling, fwd, auto-tragic, shit, driven by old people, given as first cars, and otherwise driven by people who have no interest in driving, and therefore are not good at it, so thats why buicks are the cause of many accidents, fender benders, and are the general poster child of on road incompetence.

The need to be systematically eliminated, every last one, with hammers, and fire.

Years ago here was a DRUNK old man (late 70's IIRC) who clipped and killed a kid on his bike, damaging the front fender and breaking the front turn signal on his Gold Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. He fled the scene but the turn signal had the RR number on it and it left gold paint on the dead kids bike. It was all over the news. The police pulled the DMV records and went to every house that a gold RR Silver Cloud was registered to and eventually found the car in this guys garage with the dent/hair/blood on it.

At the time, I was working for a high end import body shop and the police brought the car to my shop to have the fender removed for evidence. I had to pull it off for them while a police officer watched me and picked up and bagged the hair and other bodily parts (skin and blood) that fell off the fender while I was pulling it.

That was not my happiest day at work.

i got clipped at a toll booth in my e30 by some old hag and her friend in there buick. i was in one lane, and there was the buick in the lane next to me a cars length ahead of me. we were about 200 feet from the toll both and i was going faster then them, passed them on the right, and at the last second, the bitch decided that that would be the perfect time to U-turn, right into my quarter panel. destroyed her hood, fender, headlight/turns etc, e30 walked away with a dented quarter panel and a flat from her piercing my tire

I spend a fair amount of time at the customer pick up area at our store and all i can say is elderly people are by far the worst parkers in the world. It blows my mind that they cant manage to park between the lines in handicapped spots that are almost twice the size of normal ones. I am glad that the old guy with the immaculate 325es is a decent parker.

nothing crazy, but my Dad's godmother is 93 and just passed her driving test! to me that's crazy!!! side note, she works at a retirement home taking care of people younger than her.
