hehe, not surprising tho. I guess the thing with statistical studies is that they can almost always be manipulated.
Statistically speaking, you could jump off a building and you'd have a two in three chance of landing in water, as the Earth's surface is 2/3rds water.
I had heard of this awhile back. Turns out that the majority of the people who perform these studies will manipulate their data to please their client. Something like 56% of scientists said they doctored results. This ranged from shifting to make a stronger case to out right fabrication when results showed the opposite of what they were looking for.
Its like the second hand smoking thing. The EPA 1993 report which stated 3000 people died from second hand smoke a year was thrown out 6 months later (thank you liberal media for not reporting it  ). The EPA was blasted by the Supreme Court for cherry picking their evidence (out of 33 reports, they selected 31, then got rid of another one bringing it down to 30) and the final EPA report was thrown out. Another study done by a european agency of 10,000 case studies showed zero evidence that second hand smoke caused any ailment what-so-ever. BTW I am a non-smoker and I hate how it smells. I just hate when stupid hippy scientists who are looking for a paycheck "discover" stuff that invades on the private lives of people. Parents have lost their kids in divorce cases for no other reason than that they are a smoker because of that bullshit study by the EPA.
Speaking of more bullshit... Watch the season 1 episode of Penn & Teller's Bullshit and learn the complete lie that is the need for recycling. Thanks for creating a 33 billion dollar a year (and growing) drain on our economy.
