also caffeine and (I think) nictoine...let me find some literature on that...(here meh first hand account)
Though i could never, in good conscience, recommend smoking cigs to someone who doesn't already.
personally, when I feel like i'm getting a little frantic, running around starting on one task and constantly changing, I like to grab a set of balls (juggling balls, that is) and juggle for 5 or 10 minutes while thinking about how to order my tasks so that I can actually focus on and complete them. helps me

Juggling is a wonderful skill to know and I practice daily as a de-stressor and general pastime. It's also good for getting your mind 'up and running' a little bit better in the mornings, say, before a big test.
neither are 'terrible' for you in moderation. did I tell him to take 3 200mg nodoze? did I recommend slapping on 5 nic. patches all at once?
do you drink coffee or tea? soda? you should know that a little bit of caffeine on a regular basis IS NOT that bad for you. furthermore the antioxidants (in the coffee/tea, stay away from soda) are most definitely a good thing to get every once in a while. i'm not saying chug 3 cups of coffee all throughout the day, but a cup at breakfast or lunch is, generally, more than ok for you to ingest.Comment

Caffine does help to and if you have both add and adhd it doesnt give me energy just makes me relaxed and focused.
At least for me.
Ive tried as lot of differnt things. Theres not to much that helped my but I have add and adhd verry bad. MY mom tried everything when I was younger but nothing else fully worked for me with out the zombie side effect it actually made me do way worse in school. I just sat around like a zombie in all my classes
But marijuana in moderation helped the most. IM by no means a pot head. If I take two hits every 3-4 hours I can focus and work no problem.

You dont have to light up a fat doob in order to receive the benefits of THC. Take it in other ways, in controlled doses. You'll feel hazy for a week or so, but you'll smooth out and wont feel any of the negative affects that ADD medicine gives you (crash, trouble sleeping, not feeling like yourself, zombie-ish, no appetite, etc)
I would recommend ingesting it via food.
