Driving home yesterday after long day at work......pretty solid traffic throughout the drive, and I was pretty tired of driving. Had my window down, and was in the second to left lane. Coming past an on-ramp, I hear the most horrible sounding exhaust I have heard in perhaps the last few years. Look over and it is some sort of attrocious possibly early gen eclipse abortion. Honestly, it could have been anything with 2 doors and some sort of Japanese manufacturer's badge on it. I notice him see me, and then notice him cutting folks off left and right behind me, trying to get next to me. He finally pulls up into my blind spot in the far left lane. From there, I guess he activated his fake BOV sound effects or perhaps just simply blew up his engine. Either way, the sound was horrible, and as embarrassed as I was for him, I was mostly just annoyed that I had to hear it right next to me with the window down. I made a bee-line for the far right exit lane and GTFO the 5. I love my M3, but it seriously gets about 150,000% more unwanted attention from morons than any of my MB's/AMG's ever have. That isn't even including all the random folks who have pulled up next to me at lights, and in all seriousness, asked if I wanted to trade cars, or "hey bro, how much did you pay for that?" They honestly seem offended when I tell them

I new a douche once. 19 years old bought a 2006 Honda type R, spent $16,000 on Avanti wheels some tyres tein electronic damper adjustment Suspension and new brake disc and pads.

He took me for a drive. I will never go for a drive with him again. We went through some twisty at night on the wrong side of the road around blind corners at the absolute limit of the tyres as the wheels were squealing like a Michael Jackson concert.

Pissed off with his behaviour I did nothing knowing karma will come around. Which it did :-Dafter spending another $6000 on rebuilding the gearbox the car was defected and he had a head on collision which was his fault. His car was a rite off and so was the other thankfully the other people were not hurt. To make it worse for him because his car was defected his insurance was void . He would be about 21 now and would have about a $50,000 loan to pay off not to mention what ever compensation he needs to pay the other people in the collision.

I was pritty happy when I heard this as I hope he learnt his leason fortunatly with out killing anyone.

Like seriously....how can they think their car looks good. SOme can pull it off.

In the end, they still have a HONDA. No amount of Shitty body kits and wheels and auto-zone stick on fender vents can change that.

Oh get off your high horse. Just because you have a BMW e30 means that you are better than everyone that owns a Japanese car. My friend has a Honda s2000 and it is one of the most fun cars I ever driven. More fun than- dare I say- a BMW.

Honda's are a lot like BMW's. Newer, base model ones are boring; the older ones are cool, trendy and fun. To make em really cool you can just lower it, add nice wheels, and swap to a newer, more powerful engine. The big advantage of E30's over a Civic/Teg/RSX etc. is RWD.

325is: S50 swap, BBS Rs, GC's, lip = nice car
DA Integra: B18 swap, Work Meisters, Coilovers, GSR parts = nice car.

Some people like Hondas, some people like BMW's. Tell me whatever you want but for years I drove Dodge Neons. It's all about how well you modify and keep them up.

That being said, I always felt I needed something else to make me happy. Needed lower, needed one more bolt on engine mod, always felt like I needed something else. I'm happy with my rusty, M40, 17y/o Bimmer as she sits, though.
