Because they enforce the LAWS that say "slow drivers stay right" ? Here in WI you can get ticketed for going to slow in the left lane, and rightfully so. Fact of the matter is, slow cars in the fast lane "force" faster cars to weave in and out of traffic to get around them, endangering others.

If what the driver in the left lane was doing was illegal ( and i also do think it was, "STAY RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS, here in jersey" ) he should have pulled her over and not drive a foot or so from her bumper putting other in danger.

^^ Thats true, but no cop enforces EVERY law, you could hire enough people in the world to enforce them all. What he did was not the best option, but its exactly what we all wanna see done to slow drivers in the wrong lane :)

I didn't like the tailgating either, and I especially wouldn't appreciate it if I was in traffic nearby, who knows what idiocy those left lane bandits are capable of. It still warms my heart though. God bless NJ troopers!

Yes I agree that it pleases me to see it. But most cops I have seen flash theyre highs for people to get out of the left lane, which I think is the right way to go.

The lead car drove under the speed limit and deserved to get a ticket or a flash of the lights for it no doubt but the cop car tailgating like that was much worse, a cop should know better than to do that. I mean if there was an accident the cop car would pile into the other car before anyone would have a chance to react.
