    DJ Equipment!!!!

This is everything about DJ.... I've been a software dj (mixvibes/virtual DJ) for the longest and I'm tired of it!
I used to do lil parties and such but never having the proper equipment to get the party hype is not what's up... I'm sure you guys are into music and turntables. Show me your setup! I'm calling you out.

Help me choose a good usb/mp3 turntable setup. I'm listening.

Technics 1200's with serato or the new traktor pro scratch. Do it. Thats what i use, along with novation dicers.

I got a set of old stanton direct drive tables, nothing special. I'm all about vinyl, but seriously thought about getting SSL. I'm not into it enough, though. I think that if you're used to vinyl, or even want the option, do that, but CDJs are going to be less upfront cost.

I missed a chance to get a pair of dicers for only $50. Back then I didn't know what they were.

Now my issue is, wouldn't vinal be easier to learn on but more expensive?
and digital dj stuff being a little more tricky, wouldn't it be cheaper and more convenient?

Check the vid in the first post, that's the stuff I want to produce

I have a set of technic 1200 m3d's and a crappy gemini 3 channel mixer. Used to have a 99 drums machine but it ended up missing... Since being in pharmacy school I haven't had the time to mess with um. They've been in storage for a few years now.

What song is that?!? I need that for cruising.

NVM I saw Team America outdoors without sound, so that explains my lack of a cultural reference.

At first I was like uhhhhh DJ Shiftee? Then he ripped into some dubstep style breakdowns...mix was sick!

My roommate who is a professional DJ uses Technic 1200s for vinyl and loves them.

                      buuuuuump,

Looking for a decent setup with 2 CDJ's and a mixer, contemplating the Numark CDJ in a box kit but the lack of hot cues on the NDX200 makes me weary. Any other good, budget minded recommendations?
