Can any mac people out there tell me what you use to copy dvds?

What about just burning data to them?

    Mac the Ripper (Rips DVD's), MMT-EZ(Burns DVD's/VCD's) and maybe ffmpegX (Converts/Encodes Audio/Video)

Those are the ones I use. You can find them all at www.versiontracker.com

      I'll see how MMT-EZ does.

Do you know any really simple copying programs?

Toast maybe, but I don't have first hand experience with it. It is a general purpose CD/DVD burning app.

Are you trying to copy, *cough* i mean "back up", retail DVD's or copy like data DVD's?

Mostly back-up movies. Just straight-up copy them.

I'm also looking for a program that i can make a DVD from a video_ts folder (from a DVD I've ripped).

Isn't that what iDVD can do? Or can't you just drag the video_ts files onto a disk and it would burn as a dvd?

I can mail you a copy of Toast if you'd like (man, I'm like your Mac bitch); I can also give you a name/password for QT Pro.

DVD Backup 1.3 will rip the existing disk and create a temporary Video_TS.

Then use DVD2oneX to re-rip it to the final DVD spec.

Then use Toast Titanium 6 to burn a Video_TS folder.

                Works great.
